From the first consultation to your final reveal — a step-by-step guide to our smile makeover process and what makes each treatment plan unique.
A smile makeover is one of the most transformative things dentistry can offer — but the term is often misunderstood. It's not a single procedure: it's a personalised plan that combines multiple treatments to achieve a unified result. Here's exactly what the process looks like at Dentist & Dentist.
The first appointment is a consultation, not a treatment. Dr. Omar will ask you to describe what you'd like to change, show you reference photos if you have them, and examine your teeth, bite and gum health. There's no pressure and no rushed decisions.
Before any work begins, we use digital smile design to show you a preview of what's possible. Photographs of your current smile are used to model the proposed result — so you can see and approve the outcome before any treatment starts.
No two smile makeovers are the same. Depending on your goals, a plan might include veneers, whitening, crown replacements, gum contouring, or diastema closure — in any combination. The sequence is planned carefully so procedures complement each other.
At the final appointment, temporary restorations come off and your permanent result is placed. Dr. Omar reviews the fit, bite and aesthetics with you — adjustments are made if needed before final bonding. You leave with a complete home-care guide and a follow-up appointment is scheduled for 4–6 weeks later.
“The best smile makeovers are the ones where, two weeks later, the patient looks at photos of themselves before and can barely remember why they ever felt self-conscious.”
